Doug Burgess is a mystery novelist, jurist and historian. His pioneering work on defining the crime of international organized terrorism has been recognized by numerous governments including the United States, and cited in both civil and criminal trials. His first novel, Fogland Point, was released to critical acclaim in 2017. Burgess is a professor of American History at Yeshiva University. He lives in Manhattan.
